As my Cousin, Ellen, reminded me this morning, snow at this time of year is “Poor Man’s Fertilizer”. Of course, growing up close to the land, and now having Briden Farm, our Homesteading Farm in Bear River, Nova Scotia, it’s something I’m aware of. Yet, every once in a while it’s nice to have a gentle reminder of such things.
Now, does it really help? Is there a real benefit or is it just an old wives tale?
