For weeks, just about 25 miles away from where we live at Briden Farm , in Bear River, Nova Scotia there is a raging, out of control forest fire. It’s known as the Long Lake Wildfire and it’s in West Dalhousie, Annapolis County, Nova Scotia. It’s burnt over 20,000 acres of Forest, people have lost their homes, and it’s damaged lots of property.
I’ve wanted to help, and I’ve also recently begun turning some of my poems and writing into songs. So, I decided to create a song to help those affected by Wildfires.
