Home At Briden Farm Song

This is what lifts me up when everything else says quit!

Home at Briden Farm Song

Down by the West Branch of Bear River's flow,

Where the settlers found shelter in the storm's wild blow.

Whispers of the past linger in the breeze,

As I stroll through the fields, among the ancient trees.

Briden Farm stands proud in the morning light,

A homesteading haven, everything feels right.

With woodland pastures where nature’s charm thrives,

Here’s where the heart of true homesteaders survives.

[Chorus]

Oh, Briden Farm, your spirit’s so warm,

Through the trials and the tears, you’ve weathered every storm.

With sheep in the meadows and goats on the hill,

In this pastoral garden, my heart finds its thrill.

In the shade of the trees, under skies so blue,

Briden Farm, oh, how we love you.

[Verse 2]

Where pigs run free and the chickens roam,

Muscovy ducks waddle, making this place home.

The evening sun paints the farmland gold,

In the embrace of the hills, our stories unfold.

Down dusty old trails, I wander and dream,

Of settlers who walked here, so rugged, so keen.

As the river sings softly, I hum along,

In the heart of Briden Farm, where we all belong.

[Bridge]

And when the dark clouds gather, and the winds begin to howl,

I seek the comfort of home, to the farmhouse I’ll prowl.

Gathered ’round the table, laughter filling the air,

In the warmth of family, I find solace there.

The echoes of our history blend sweetly with the now,

At Briden Farm, we cherish our roots, we take a vow.

[Verse 3]

From dawn's first light to the twilight's sheen,

Living off the land, with every moment serene.

The simple joy of life, chasing sunsets aglow,

In the heart of Nova Scotia, where love continues to grow.

So here’s to the future, and the stories yet to share,

At Briden Farm by the river, we nurture every care.

Here

[Outro]

So let the winds rustle, let the river flow wide,

For at Briden Farm, we’ll continue with pride.

This home of ours stands through the seasons of life,

In the heart of Bear River, we thrive, free from strife.
