95 Community Events, 1,500 Views in 10 Days!
A Strong Start for Our Community Events and Promotions Page
We’re excited to share some early results from our new Facebook Page, Country Air Radio Community Events and Promotions!
In just the first 10 days, here’s what we’ve accomplished:
95 Community Event posts covering local events from Yarmouth to Halifax, including the Annapolis Valley and South Shore.
1,548 total views — showing that our posts are reaching far beyond just our immediate followers.
Views by content type:
Links (event pages) → 48.9%
Photos → 41.2%
Views by audience:
Non-followers → 79.6%
Followers → 20.4%
Why this is exciting
Most new Facebook Pages get very limited reach in their first days — often only visible to followers. For a small, local, community-focused Page to reach over 1,500 people in 10 days is above average, and the majority of those viewers were non-followers! This means our content is being discovered and shared, helping us grow our audience from the start.
Our results show that:
Event links and photos are driving most engagement.
Locally relevant content is key — people care about community events.
Posting consistently helps reach new people quickly.
